五月一日一早，爸爸妈妈就带我乘车来到了位于东街28号的省少年儿童图书馆，刚一下车，我便被眼前一座平顶的巨大建筑物惊呆了，它比我想象的要大多了，一走进大厅，我就被冰心老人的塑像给吸引住了，妈妈告诉我冰心老人是著名的'儿童文学家。在看了门口的布局指示图后，我们步上二楼，这里虽然人很多，但非常宁静，大家各自静悄悄地专心阅读自己借阅的图书。随后我也把要看的书名告诉图书馆的阿姨，阿姨很快就通过电脑查找到我要的书，抱着借来的书，我跟着妈妈来到了阅览室，找到位置坐了下来，津津有味地阅读了起来。
时间过的很快，不知不觉就过去了2个小时，而我却沉醉在书中丰富多彩的内容里，浑然忘我，直到妈妈说要回家了，我才恋恋不舍的离开图书馆，妈妈答应我以后还会经常带我来的。
今天我的收获很大，从书本上我学到了很多知识，是我过的最开心，最难忘的一个五一节。
