Hello! My name is Wang Yueqi. My English name is Steven. I'm a boy. I'm twelve. I'm in Class 2, Grade 6. In our class, every student has an English name. Our classroom is wide and bright. There are forty-six students in my class. We have Chinese, maths, English, science, music, art and PE lessons every day. Our English teacher is Mr Zhang. He speaks English well. He is very kind to us. My classmates love him very much. We like to play football with him after class. We read English every morning. We say "Hello!" and "See you later!" to all the teachers in our school in English. Other teachers say "Good morning." and "Sit down, please." to us in English, too. We are all glad to hear that. So we are very happy in our school life. My hobby is lisetening to music.

I like listening to music best.Because listening to music makes me relaxed.When I am tired,I will listening some quiet music,that makes me fall asleep very quickly.My favorite music is the music that has good lyrics.Good lyrics can also make me learn Chinese or English well. I love listening to music.I will keep this hobby forever.

I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth. After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mother's car. It takes us more than half an hour to get there.

We have four hour classes in the morning. I have luch at my grandparents', because their home is nearer to my school.

After two classes in the afternoon, school is over. Then we clean our classroom.

I get home at about half past five. We have dinner at seven. After dinner I do my homework. If I finish my homesork early, I can watch TV for half an hour. I go to bed at half past nine or ten.

I’ve got a lovely friend at school. His name is Jack. Jack is 12 years old now. I’m 11. He’s older than me. He’s 150 cm tall. I’m 148 cm. He’s taller and stronger. He’s 43 kg and I’m 41 kg. He’s heavier. We’ve got round faces and short hair. But my eyes are bigger and my legs are longer. Our favourite colours are white and blue. We like summer best. We both like sports, too. On Saturdays, we play table tennis. On Sundays, we play basketball. He’s good at basketball. But I do better at table tennis. We laugh and play together. How happy we are!

时间的匆匆总会让人不禁头涔涔而泪潸潸，我们身处于这样的环境中，不能改变生活，但可以让自己适应这种环境，从而悟出道理。

下午，我飞快地把其他作业做完，就剩下英语最后写。我首先把单词抄了4次，然后高兴地说：“妈妈，你快来看我默写单词。”我顺利地把四季的单词默写完，然后我得意洋洋地望了一下站在旁边的妈妈，妈妈大吼道：“快写，你还有12个月的单词呢？”当我写一月的这个单词时，就被卡住了，把“January”写成了“Junry”接下来的11个月的单词更是写得乱七八糟。给妈妈检查时，16个单词只对了8个。唉，又挨骂了！真是心急吃不了热豆腐。这时，妈妈给我下了一条圣旨：把错了的单词每个抄十遍，再默写。我接到圣旨以后，又像完成任务似的，迅速完成。这下妈妈只要我默写12个月的单词了。这次默写，我又只对了一半。更糟糕的是，我之前写对了的单词这次却写错了。妈妈问我到底有没有在认真抄写？我支支吾吾地说不出话来。时间很快就过去了，爸爸在一旁劝说明天再默吧。

晚上，我心想：为什么几个单词我就这么难记住？我一定要认真记单词。一大早，我就拿着英语书开始读单词，反反复复仔仔细细几遍下来，我好象记住了。我喊妈妈过来看我默写，不一会儿，我就把单词全部成功默写完了。妈妈改了以后，满意地向我点了点头，我自豪地笑了。

通过这件事，我明白了一个道理：只要努力，我也会成功！
